• Reserve rooms above first floor.
• Keep doors and windows locked, and check them before retiring.
• Put valuables in the hotel room safe.
• Keep drapes closed after dark.
• Verify workmen with the front desk before admitting them into your room.
• Locate your nearest emergency exit and fire extinguisher.
